Antarctica is used for multiple things. Mostly, it is used for research. There are all types of opportunities for all types of scientists. Some of the research is aeronomy. Aeronomy is the study of chemicals 30km above surface area, this is studied in Antarctica because of the ice, being so high from surface area. Astrophysics is the study of the stars, being good to study in Antarctica because of the 6 months of night time. Biology is the study of animals, being good to study in Antarctica because of its unique animals. Geology is the study of landscapes and landmarks, studied in Antarctica because of the resources of ice being an only landscape. Meteorology is the study of weather studied in Antarctica because of the extreme climate. Glaciology is the study of ice and moving icebergs, studied in Antarctica because of the ice. Oceanology is the study of currents studied in Antarctica because of the currents in the melted sea. Antarctica helps the rest of the world and is important to know the world we are in.
