Did you know Antarctica doesn't have a governor? Antarctica has many nations wanting a piece of it. However you may question why everyone wants a piece of an icy frozen land? Part of the reason is to conduct scientific research. Another is to become more world widely powerful. Australia owns most of Antarctica. There is  a treaty to prevent military practice and other motions. Antarctica is a good place to conduct research and place research stations. There is a lot to discover in this icy land.
