Biologists explore the wild discovering habits
Antarctica's research was founded in 2008. The foundation decided that the area was worth studying because the region impacted the world in many different ways, and it still does. If the ice melted, the water would rise 60 meters, drowning many countries. As the only continent covered in ice, scientists study its vulnerabilities of climate and the impact on the world. Some scientist don't stay for long, however they take the measurements, as ice decreases to than study in another lab. However, scientist don't only study the ice, they also study the wild life. Many unique animals only found in Antarctica are the most studied. As Antarctica's 10% of the earths surface, many projects are going onto how people can help to keep this piece of icy land. In total, this land is an opportunity for all researchers around the world.
